Free Lapel Pin Guide

How long does it take to produce lapel pins?
We can manufacture your pins within 10-14 days for customers requiring them
expedited, for quick unexpected approaching events. This delivery
schedule does require an expedited shipping charge and our free shipping
offer does not apply. Normally we like to use 3-4 weeks for production.
What is the most economical process for pins?
The Die Struck Enamel method using Iron for the base metal is the less expensive
way to go, however the use of Iron in no way jeopardizes quality, the
gold plating and thickness of this product looks and feels like a top quality
lapel pin.
What type of artwork do you require?
We can accept a verbal description of the design from
you and in turn produce the artwork for you, free of charge If
you purchase the pins from our company.
If you have the artwork available we can open any file that
you have jpeg, tiff eps illustrator file or pdf.
What is the average size lapel pin?
1” to 1-1/4” pin is the most commonly ordered size. A suprisingly
amount of detail is achieved with size as well. Collectors and traders
will produce a 2” to 2-1/4” pin.
How long do you retain the dies for our pins?
If the customer orders continually year after year
we keep the dies on hand forever. If the customer does
not order again (the same design) within 4 years, the dies
are recycled.
What is the shiny coating on the pins surface?
This is an epoxy coating and is optional, if you prefer this
coating application there is no extra charge
for it.
What is the cost of a die?
The average die charge for 1” pin is $55.00, it is free if
you order 500 pieces or more. If an interior hole is required
within the pin an extra die charge required and it is $20.00
per hole. The additional dies for interior holes is not included
with the free die charges offer.
Are there minimum order requirements?
We do not have minimum requirements, however there is
a service charge of $25.00 per order for the production run.
How many colors are included in the price?
There are 4 colors included in the price from our prices page.
if you require more , each additional color is .5 per color.
What if my deadline is missed?
If we tell you we can make your deadline we guarantee
it 100%
If I want to see samples first, how long does it take?
Most of the production time in producing lapel pins
is the time required to create the Die. When the customer
requires a sample we require 2 weeks for production.
What type of payment is required to start production?
Because our product is custom, we require a 50% deposit
when we start production, after they are completed and ready
to ship we require the balance.
